Description: St. Philip was a apostle of Jesus Christ who is mentioned as taking part in the feeding of the five thousand. Tradition tells us that he was a missionary in the regions of Galatia and Phrygia; the apostle was crucified and then stoned to death. A spear with a cross is used as St. Philip symbols based on accounts that Philip was martyred by a spear.
