St. Catherine of Alexandria was a noted scholar in the early 4th century. The Orthodox Church venerates her as a great martyr, and in the Catholic Church she is traditionally revered as one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers. She attempted to convert the pagan emperor Maximinus Daia, who had her imprisoned and ordered her put to death on a machine of spiked wheels. She was saved by a miracle but was later beheaded. St. Catherine of Alexandria devised a symbol Spiked wheel. This St. Catherine of Alexandria Christian PowerPoint Theme or template is by and large colored orange.
